East Brunswick High School will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in grand style on October 10 and 11, 2008. Planning is in the works for a gala weekend. On Friday, Oct. 10 there will be a pre-game barbeque. During half time of the football game all previous EB Football Bears will be invited onto the field. The stands will be sectioned off for alumni from each decade to sit and enjoy the game. On Saturday, Oct. 11 there will be a variety of fall sports activities on campus. During tours of EBHS alumni will see music, dance and other student groups performing and displays of EBHS memorabilia from over the years. Plans are being made for a Sock Hop to be held in the gym on Saturday evening.

On March 5, the Foundation held its annual Partner in Excellence Award Dinner.  This year the Foundation honored teachers Stephanie Margolies and Susan Pomerantz; East Brunswick High School Alumnus and President of the Americana Hospitality Group, Constantine Katsifis; and Saint Peter’s University Hospital.
